Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 September 2026

Summary Ultrasonic Generator generates sound locally on your device. We do not record, store, or transmit any audio. BNeoTech does not operate its own servers — data collected through the App is processed by third-party services (Google AdMob, RevenueCat). Google is an independent data controller under its own privacy policy; RevenueCat is a processor acting on BNeoTech's behalf. For data we control directly (RevenueCat subscriber records), a deletion request can be submitted once your subscription has ended — see Section 10.6.B for the steps. For data controlled by Google (AdMob advertising ID, Google Play purchase history), self-service instructions are available in sections 10.6.C and 10.6.D — Google does not accept third-party deletion requests on your behalf. Deleting your data does not cancel your subscription; that is a separate action you take in Google Play.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how BNeoTech ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Ultrasonic Generator mobile application (the "App") available on Google Play.

About BNeoTech "BNeoTech" is a trade name (nama dagang) used by an individual developer based in Indonesia. It is not a separate legal entity such as a PT, CV, or corporation. All references to "we", "us", or "our" in this document refer to that individual developer personally.

By installing and using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.

2. Our Role as Data Controller

Under applicable data protection laws (such as the GDPR or Indonesia's PDP Law), BNeoTech acts as the data controller — meaning we determine why and how information is processed in connection with the App.

However, BNeoTech does not operate its own servers or databases. The actual storage and processing of personal data is carried out by third-party service providers. Depending on the service and the type of data, these providers may act either as data processors on BNeoTech's behalf (for example, RevenueCat for subscription management) or as independent data controllers under their own privacy policies (for example, Google for advertising and payments). See section 10.3 for a breakdown of who controls what.

This means:

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information collected automatically

When you use the App, certain information is collected automatically by us and by our third-party service providers:

3.2 Information you provide

The App does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personally identifiable information directly.

If you contact us by email (bneotech.id@gmail.com), your email address and any information you choose to include in your message are received by us. This is retained only for the purpose of responding to your inquiry.

3.3 Information stored locally on your device

The following information is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us or to any third party:

This data is stored using Android's local storage and is deleted when you uninstall the App.

4. Audio Data

We do not collect audio. All sound generation happens locally on your device using a Rust DSP engine compiled into the App. The App does not access your microphone, does not record audio, and does not transmit any audio data to any server.

5. How We Use Information

We use the information collected to:

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy that governs how it handles your information:

Service Purpose Privacy Policy
Google AdMob Advertising policies.google.com/privacy
RevenueCat Subscription management revenuecat.com/privacy
Google Play Billing Payment processing policies.google.com/privacy
Google Play In-App Update Version check & update prompt policies.google.com/privacy

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

7. Advertising & Opt-Out

Free users see advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use the Android Advertising ID to show personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your Android device settings:

Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we display a consent dialog (Google User Messaging Platform) before loading personalized ads, as required by GDPR.

Pro users do not see advertisements.

8. Subscriptions

Subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing and managed by RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your payment card details. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase history to validate your subscription status.

To manage or cancel your subscription, go to Google Play → Subscriptions.

Cancelling vs. deleting are two separate actions.
  • Cancelling your subscription is done by you in Google Play → Subscriptions. It stops future billing.
  • Deleting your RevenueCat data (see Section 10.6.B) is done by us, and only after the subscription has ended. It does not cancel your subscription.
If your goal is to stop paying and remove your data: first cancel in Google Play, then email us to delete your history.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Data collected by third-party services (AdMob, RevenueCat) is retained according to their respective privacy policies.

Locally stored data (presets, preferences) is deleted when you uninstall the App.

10. Your Rights & How to Exercise Them

Important — How data is controlled BNeoTech does not operate its own servers and does not maintain a database of user information. Any personal data associated with your use of the App is stored and processed by third-party service providers (Google AdMob and RevenueCat), either as independent controllers or as processors acting on our behalf — see the table in section 10.3. Rights concerning data controlled by third-party providers (such as Google) must be exercised directly with those providers. Rights concerning data we control (RevenueCat subscriber records) can be exercised by contacting us — see section 10.6.B.

10.1 Rights you may have

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA in California, or Indonesia's PDP Law), you may have the right to:

Because BNeoTech does not operate its own servers, most of these rights concern data controlled by our third-party providers, and must be exercised directly with those providers. For data we do control, see section 10.6.B.

10.2 Data held locally on your device

Some data — your saved presets, preferences, and safety consent — is stored only on your device. You have full control over this data:

10.3 Data held by third-party services — who controls what

Personal data collected through the App is processed by third-party services. The table below shows which party can actually act on a deletion request, based on each provider's own policy and technical capability:

Data Controller Who can delete?
Local presets, preferences, consent state You (device) You — uninstall or in-app clear
RevenueCat subscriber record
(anonymous app user ID, purchase history, last seen)
BNeoTech (as controller) with RevenueCat as processor BNeoTech can delete on your request
Android Advertising ID + ad-serving data Google (AdMob) You via Android settings
Google Play purchase history Google (Play Billing) You via Google Account
Google Account activity / history Google You via My Activity

Important: BNeoTech cannot delete data held by Google on your behalf. Google's policy only accepts deletion requests directly from the account owner (you). RevenueCat subscriber data is under BNeoTech's control as data controller under our agreement with RevenueCat.

10.4 How to submit a request to us

To exercise any of your rights regarding data we control (RevenueCat subscriber records), contact us at bneotech.id@gmail.com. Please include:

If you are located in the EEA / UK / Switzerland and have a complaint about how your request is handled, you may also contact your local supervisory authority.

10.5 Deletion of local data

You may delete local data at any time without contacting us:

10.6 Data Deletion — Step-by-Step

This section is provided so you can exercise your deletion rights without needing to contact us first. It also serves as the data deletion reference required by Google Play's Data Safety policy.

A. Local data (you delete directly)

  1. Uninstall the App — automatically removes all locally stored presets, preferences, and consent state.
  2. Or, in-app: Settings → Data Management → Clear All Saved Frequencies to delete only your saved frequency presets.
  3. Or, in-app: Settings → Reset Safety Warning to reset consent state.

These actions take effect immediately. No further step is required.

B. RevenueCat subscriber record

What we store, and why. To manage and validate your Pro subscription, we use a third-party service called RevenueCat. RevenueCat stores the following data on our behalf:

This data is necessary for the App to know whether to unlock Pro features for you. Without it, we cannot provide the Pro service you paid for.

When can this data be deleted? When your subscription is no longer active — either because it expired on its own, or because you cancelled it in Google Play → Subscriptions. Once the subscription is inactive, this record serves no purpose and you can ask us to delete it.
If your subscription is still active

You cannot permanently delete this record while you are still subscribed. This is not our choice — it is a technical requirement of how subscription validation works:

If you simply want to stop using Pro, cancel your subscription in Google Play → Subscriptions. Once Google confirms the cancellation, the record becomes eligible for deletion (see next section).

Note: cancelling your subscription and requesting deletion of your RevenueCat data are two separate actions. Cancelling is done by you in Google Play. Deletion requests can only be handled after the subscription has ended.

If your subscription has ended and you want your history deleted
  1. Confirm your subscription is inactive — either it expired naturally, or you cancelled it in Google Play → Subscriptions (a confirmation email is typically sent by Google).
  2. Email us at bneotech.id@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete my subscription history".
  3. In the email, include any identifier that helps us find your record: the anonymous RevenueCat app user ID (if you have it), the approximate date of your first purchase, or the Google Play order ID from your purchase receipt.
  4. Upon a verified request, your RevenueCat subscriber record is removed from our active records, and a confirmation is sent to the email address provided.

C. Google AdMob advertising data (you delete via Google)

Google AdMob associates ad-serving data with your Android Advertising ID. BNeoTech cannot delete this data on your behalf — only Google, acting on your direct request, can.

  1. Open Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Settings → Google → Ads on older versions).
  2. Tap Delete advertising ID to reset it. This disassociates future ad activity from your previous identifier.
  3. Optionally, disable Ads personalization in the same screen.
  4. To request deletion of data already associated with your Google Account (including historical ad-serving logs), use Google My Activity. Google's data-deletion policy applies.

D. Google Play purchase history (you delete via Google)

Purchase history is retained by Google Play. BNeoTech cannot delete it.

  1. Open Google Account → Data & privacy.
  2. Under "Data from apps and services you use", find Google Play Store.
  3. Follow Google's instructions.

E. Children's data

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal data through the App, contact us at bneotech.id@gmail.com. Data under BNeoTech's control can be requested for deletion. For data held by Google, use the self-service steps in sections 10.6.C and 10.6.D above to submit a deletion request to Google directly.

Subscription cancellation is separate. None of the deletion actions above cancel your Google Play subscription or issue a refund. To stop billing, cancel in Google Play → Subscriptions first.

11. Children's Privacy

Not intended for children under 13. The App is not designed for use by children under the age of 13. Because the App can produce ultrasonic sound that may be harmful to hearing (especially to children, who can hear higher frequencies than adults), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at bneotech.id@gmail.com. Such information can be deleted upon request.

See the Hearing Safety page for important warnings about ultrasonic sound exposure.

12. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we process. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. International Data Transfers

Information collected by our third-party service providers may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own, including the United States. These transfers are governed by the respective service providers' privacy policies and standard contractual clauses.

14. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When it is updated, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page is also updated. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.

15. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
